This month’s meeting of the Sydney Windows User Group is coming up this Wednesday 14th April 2010 and will be covering the latest Microsoft and related news, the official launch of AuTechHeads and the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack. 6:30pm – AuTechHeads Launch!
AuTechHeads is an exciting new group that focuses on geeks rather than individual technologies. We’re excited to host the official launch of the AuTechHeads website, and Matt will talk about how easy it is to join (and free!), and how you can get involved and contribute!

7:45pm – Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack
The session will focus on the Microsoft Desktop Optimization pack for management and deployment. We will begin by discussing challenges that IT Professionals experience in deploying applications and managing desktop systems. Then we will discuss solutions around the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack offerings that simplify deployment and management while reducing IT costs. We will explore Microsoft Application Virtualization for Windows 7 clients to deploy applications on demand.

To round out the night, we’ll open the floor up for networking and random discussion. Feel free to vendor bash, i have no rules against that!
